The Assisted Dying Bill will go back to Legislative Council for further discussion, after MHKs rejected changes.
Yesterday in The House of Keys, MHKs voted on suggested changes to the bill, which would give terminally ill adults on the Island the right to end their own lives.
The Legislative Council had suggested amendments to the criteria, including how long was required to live on the Island, but this was rejected by the House of Keys.
The Bill is approaching its final stages and will now be discussed by the Legislative Council on Tuesday, March 11.
