Hard Hitting Campaign Launched Today
The Manx police force and the Department of infrastructure will be making the anti drink drive campaign more hard hitting this year.
In a first for the Isle of Man the campaign will be seen on petrol pumps, shop receipts and wage slips.
Designated drivers across the UK will be offered buy-one-get-one-free deals on soft drinks in pubs.
Inspector Mark Britton from the Roads Policing Unit says the Island will be following suit from December 17th and they are taking a robust line on something that is sometimes taken too lightly.

Hard hitting posters, with real life crashes, will be put on display in pubs and clubs and radio adverts will be played out.
Party Goers are being urged not to drink and drive.
Those who get caught doing so will face a hefty fine and be taken to court.
