Forecasters have issued an amber weather warning for coastal overtopping on Island today.
The notice comes into force at Noon and will run until 4pm this afternoon.
The areas most likely to be affected are promenades in Douglas, Laxey, Castletown and Ramsey as well as Shore Road in Rushen.
According to Ronaldsway Met Office, high spring tides and strong to near-gale force winds will lead to 'significant debris' being washed onto exposed locations around the time of high tide at around 2.30pm today.
