A man's walked free from court after it heard an alleged benefits fraud involved someone forging his signature.
60 year old Robert Charles Astick of Shore Road in Kirk Michael appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
He'd denied obtaining a benefit for another person - prosecutors offered no evidence, saying he didn't know about the benefit application and his signature had been forged.
The case was marked dismissed.
