Alarm raised after broken glass left on beach

A concerned citizen has voiced her outrage on social media after cleaning up a whole bag of broken glass from a popular beach in Douglas.

Jamylea Ferns took to Facebook to post a picture of all the smashed beer bottles she found at Douglas Head - where glass littered the footpath, cliffs and beach.

It's after a number of youths were reported to have been seen in the area the night before.

Port Skillion is known as favourite spot for sea swimmers, with others also pointing out the danger they face from broken glass.
