Airport warns wrapped gifts might have to be opened at security

Don't take wrapped presents through airport security - in case they need to be inspected.

That's the advice from management at Ronaldsway, who warn you might have to open gifts you're taking as carry-on luggage.

On Facebook today, they say if you've already wrapped presents to fly, you should put them into your checked baggage.

And they're also reminding passengers Christmas crackers can't be taken aboard flights as hand luggage.
