Ronaldsway Airport is considering cutting its free 1-hour parking to just 15 minutes in the short-stay car park.
The changes are subject to a consultation which will be launched by the Department of Infrastructure on Friday.
The cost of parking for up to two hours is set to rise by 50 per cent under the new proposals - while the maximum charge will go from £60 at present to £299 if the plans are approved.
A 12-month trial of the new prices will start on May 1.
