Government says passenger figures for air travel were the second highest on record last year.

In 2016 nearly 804,000 passengers went through Ronaldsway Airport - the second highest annual total on record.

Harbour figures rose by just under one per cent with 598,000 people travelling by boat -  565,000 of those used the ferries.

Statistics also show the Steam Packet Company's reliability and punctuality stood at more than 95 per cent for the year.
