You may have seen them in the water around the island, now you have a chance to adopt one - The Manx Wildlife Trust along with the Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch is giving you the chance to adopt a Risso’s dolphin’
It's part of a new idea to help conserve and learn more about the dolphin and other marine life in the irish Sea as Marine Officer Eleanor Stone explained to 3FM: (AUDIO ABOVE)
To find out more or to adopt a dolphin, complete with an adoption pack including the name and photo of your chosen dolphin and a cuddly soft toy version to take home, go to the Manx Wildlife Trust website – www.manxwt.org.ukor pop into the Wildlife Shop in Peel.
