A talk is taking place later this month as part of the launch of a book about the Island's Medieval history.
'A Visitor's Guide to the Medieval Kingdon of Man and the Isles, 1066-1275' was written by Professor R. Andrew McDonald, a regular visitor to the Island from Canada.
The book gives an introduction to the history, archaeology and built heritage of the Isle of Man and United Kingdom.
The talk will take place at 12pm on Wednesday August 23 at the Manx Museum, with a book signing taking place afterwards.
