All Escaping With Just Minor Injuries
It’s been revealed that a nine month old baby and a toddler were in the car that a digger fell on top of a the Governors Bridge roundabout yesterday.
The nine month old, the four year old and their parents made a miraculous escape.
They were driving along Behmahauge road near the governor’s bridge roundabout at about 4 o’clock.
Next to them was a lorry towing a yellow trailer which was carrying an excavator – that fell on top of the car.
The incident led to part of the Bemahague road being closed for most of the evening while the vehicles were recovered.
The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
At the outset it appeared to be much more serious than it eventually turned out to be.
The nine month old, four year old and their parents were treated at Nobles for just minor bruises and cuts but escaping any serious injuries.
