The Department of Infrastructure says one of it buses was hired out every day last year on average.
A Freedom of Information request asked for details about privately-hired buses in 2024.
In its response, Bus Vannin revealed it had 310 hires over the year involving 375 buses, 22 minibuses and 397 drivers.
The most common day for buses to be hired was Saturday.
