A bar in Douglas has temporarily closed as a precaution around Covid-19.
1886 on Regent Street took to social media to confirm it will remain closed tonight and for a few days after a positive Covid-19 case visited there between 11pm and 2am on Boxing Day (December 26).
The team there says, after speaking to the relevant people, they’ve been told the risk level of the infection spreading was minimal.
They add the health and safety of its staff and customers is the main priority, and the temporary closure will allow staff the opportunity to get tested.
