Ten people have had residency requirements for public sector homes waived in the past three years.
So says the Department of Infrastructure in a response for a Freedom of Information request.
Normally, people applying for public sector homes must have lived on the Island for 10 years, and in their local area for three years - although that can be waived under extreme circumstances.
In 2023 four people were given exemptions, rising to five in 2024 - this year there has been just one case.
The DOI granted three of those 10.
