Steam Packet aims to support 400 people and organisations this year

The Isle of Man Steam Packet is aiming to help 400 people and organisations this year.

It comes as residents are being encouraged to apply for the company's Manx Community Assistance initiative.

The types of support provided includes travel requests for charitable causes, sportspeople regularly traveling off Island to compete, and charitable travel vouchers for those in need of prizes for fundraising events.

374 people or organisations received support last year - you can fill in the application form here.
