Flybe has announced the appointment of a new Chief Operations Officer from later this year.
Chris Hope will take on the role at the airline from November 4 and will take charge of air and ground operations along with customer service.
Mr Hope - who brings around 30 years of aviation experience and has held a number of senior positions - says he wants to play a key role in making sure the airline 'delivers on its considerable potential'.
Flybe operates daily services between the Island and the likes of Liverpool, Manchester and London Heathrow and was bought by the Connect Airways consortium back in February.
