During its sitting later this month, Tynwald had planned to debate introducing an order covering copyright and performances from the two nations after the UK introduced measures there.
The British government amended its laws after signing fair trade agreements with both countries.
However, the Isle of Man's order has now been put back and will be discussed during the court's October sitting.
