A 16-year-old has been charged with murder after a teenage boy was fatally stabbed in east London.
Officers were called to Hackney shortly after 7.15pm on Monday following reports of a large gathering, disorder, and people with machetes in Towpath Walk.
Brayan David Saldarriaga, 15, from Haringey, north London, was found with stab wounds in Poplar Close.
He was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of emergency services.
Police said a fight had spilled out of a house party.
A 16-year-old, who cannot be named because of his age, has been charged with Brayan's murder.
The suspect has also been charged with possession of a bladed article.
He is due to appear at Thames Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
Brayan's next-of-kin continue to receive support from specialist officers.
