Yesterday proved a busy day for Douglas Coastguard.
Having already assisted paramedics at lunchtime, they were then called to help a young person stuck at Port Jack cliffs later that afternoon.
The youngster was clinging to the cliff face and Police had managed to throw a line down by the time the coastguard arrived.
Crews were able to secure the youth to a rope and both were hauled back up to safety.
Despite being 'shaken', no-one was hurt during the incident.
