A young footballer from Douglas has scooped an important award.
17-year-old Sophie McKnight, of Douglas Athletic FC, took the Isle of Man FA's Young Volunteer of the Year award.
The clubs team manager, Craig Purvis, says her achievement is 'truly deserved'.
Sophie - who during the last year gained an FA level one coaching qualification - is thanking the club for the opportunity to further her skills.
