A yellow weather warning for gales and coastal overtopping remains in place until this afternoon.
The notice from the Met Office came into force at 8am yesterday and runs until Noon today.
Forecasters have predicted the whole will be affected by minor wind damage - particularly Shore Road, Castletown Promenade, the north end of Douglas Promenade and Laxey.
It also warns of south-southwest winds reaching gale force levels - with gusts reaching up to 70mph.
