The price of milk has risen by almost twice the rate of inflation today.
The government's latest milk prices amendment order came into force this morning.
It sets the legal price of milk on the Island, and the order is due to be laid before Tynwald when it sits later this month.
A single pint of whole milk has risen from 84.7p to 90.3p, an increase of 6.6 per cent.
