Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the weekend.
Forecasters say strong winds and high spring tides means there's a danger of waves washing over exposed roads.
The warning runs from 11am until 2pm on Sunday, September 27.
Areas most at risk include promenades in Douglas, Laxey, Ramsey and Castletown promenades, as well as Shore Road in Rushen and Derbyhaven.
