A weather warning has been issued as temperatures remain close to freezing on higher grounds.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for icy patches.
Forecasters say lower levels around the Island are expected to remain just above freezing due to the strong south-easterly wind.
The warning came into force at midday today and lasts until 12pm tomorrow.
