A yellow weather warning is in place this lunchtime for coastal overtopping.
According to the Ronaldsway Met Office, ‘adverse conditions’ are expected to affect the Island between 11am-2pm today.
It adds that high tide and strong winds will bring waves and debris onto exposed roads around the time of high water, which is about 12:30pm.
Shore Road in Rushen, Castletown Promenade and the Northern end of Douglas Promenade are the areas most likely to be affected.
