A yellow weather warning is in place today.
The Met Office says the warning - for thunderstorms and heavy rain - runs until 4pm.
It's warning up to an inch of rain could fall in places, bringing the risk of localised flooding.
And it says thunder and lightning may be expected in some areas late this morning.
