A yellow weather warning for heavy rain, wet snow and icy patches is now in force.
The notice from Ronaldsway Met Office came into force at 2pm today and runs until 11pm tonight.
Forecasters say the whole Island will be affected - with sleet and wet snow possible in areas above 1000ft.
They’ve added the conditions could lead to some localised flooding and standing water on roads, with a risk of icy patches on untreated surfaces on higher ground later on.
