A yellow weather warning for today has been extended until 3pm.
The warning is currently in place for snow and ice, with the south and east of the Island most at risk of icy patches until 9am.
The Ronaldsway Met Office adds that rain/sleet/snow/hail is also expected, which could lead to snow on higher ground.
A further warning is likely to be issued later today for overnight due to the risk of ice.
