Bad weather means roadworks on the New Castletown Road have been put back this week.
The Department of Infrastructure had planned to close Richmond Hill during the evenings from tonight.
However, with the extra demand brought on by gales and rain at the weekend, and poor conditions continuing, the department says the road will now close on Wednesday, October 28 and Thursday, October 29 from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
There'll then be further closures on Monday and Tuesday next week.
