The Department of Infrastructure says a number of roads will close tonight in the face of a red weather warning.
The alert, for coastal overtopping, will see high tides, a storm surge and high winds bringing waves over exposed roads and harbour flooding in Douglas and Ramsey.
Queens Promenade and Mooragh Promenade in Ramsey, Shore Road in Laxey, Central Promenade, Queens Promenade, Strathallan Crescent and King Edward Road in Douglas, Castletown Promenade and Shore Road in Rushen will all close at 10pm.
They'll reopen when it's safe.
