A yellow weather warning’s been issued as Storm Amy approaches the Island.
Ronaldsway Met Office says the warning for gale to severe gale force winds runs from 4pm on Friday, October 3 until 6pm on Saturday, October 4.
Gusts of up to 65 mph are expected the sweep the Island amid torrential rain, which could bring some localised flooding.
Forecasters say windspeeds will mean travel disruption and probably some fallen trees and minor structural damage.
