Manx Utilities says it's hoping to start fitting replacement flues to Peel Power Station next week.
The complex was damaged by Storm Eowyn last January, and needs repairs to its exhaust stack.
Four newly-made flue sections are ready to be installed - Manx Utilitites says it hopes to have a 220-foot crane in place to start the work from Monday, February 16.
The work should take around seven days, and is dependent on suitable weather.
