Due to significant staff absences, Year 9 students at Ramsey Grammar school have been asked to work from home.
Headteacher Sarah Findlater has sent a letter to parents, asking the pupils to stay at home both tomorrow and Monday.
She adds that they have a significant and rising number of staff absent, making normal running of the school difficult.
All other students will remain in school as normal.
