The DOI is planning work to enforce speed limits on a highway in Marown later this month.
The Department will install speed bumps on Glenvine Road between Ballamurphie Park and Ballagarey Road on Monday, December 16 in efforts to get motorists to stick to the 20mph speed restriction there.
It's due to close that day between 9.15am and 4pm - should it be pushed back by poor weather the works will take place either the following day (December 17) or the Wednesday of that week (December 18).
Officials say access for residents to their properties will still be available but through traffic won't be allowed whilst the project is taking place.
