A working group has been set up to try and find a solution to slowing the rate of erosion on the Kirk Michael coastline.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says the group will seek cost-effective ideas to stop the problem moving further up the coast.
Michael MHK Alf Cannan has long been campaigning for action on erosion in the area and says he wants to find and implement positive solutions.
