To facilitate the works a one-way traffic system will operate on Queens Road with a reduced speed limit of 20mph.
The Department of Infrastructure’s work team will be embarking on the next stage of their Carriageway and footway refurbishment scheme in Port St Mary this week.
The work will be carried out between Fistard Road and Athol Street, there will also be reconstruction work of the Queens Place carriageway.
To facilitate the works a one-way traffic system will operate on Queens Road with a reduced speed limit of 20mph.
In addition Queens Place between Queens Road and Athol Street will be closed for the duration of the works.
Work will start on Monday; the Department are thanking the public in advance for their patience and co-operation.
