Contractors say work to stop flooding on a busy Braddan road is progressing well.
Department of Infrastructure teams have been on Ballafletcher Road since earlier this week to improve the drainage system near the Vehicle Test Centre in an area which has been prone to flooding in recent months.
Officials removed temporary lights there yesterday and say the road will be fully open until next Monday (January 13).
From then, the lights will be put back and the route will have a single lane of traffic whilst the southbound side is excavated to install new pipes.
