Work has started on addressing drainage issues on a busy road in Braddan.
As of yesterday, Department of Infrastructure workers are looking into the drainage system on Ballafletcher Road near the Vehicle Test Centre with two-way temporary lights in place.
The DOI is advising - until the extent of the repairs needed is known - the section may see the lights operate 24/7 or even involve the road closing fully.
Officials say it's hoped the initiative will be finished by the end of the week but this is subject to change, with the aim of the project to stop flooding on the route which has happened in recent months.
