The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture will be working on trees in a glen near Onchan.
DEFA says the works will start in Molly Quirk's Glen on Monday, September 29.
It will mean the glen is closed on the south side of the stream.
Access will still be possible from the Whitebridge parking layby, but only the higher paths on the north side of the glen will be useable.
