Essential refurbishment works have started on one of the Island’s main reservoirs.
Manx Utilities says it needs to replace two critical valves at the Clypse Reservoir in Onchan.
The body of water is one of four main reservoirs which supply water to the Douglas treatment works and the south.
Work is expected to take about two weeks, but as the reservoir has to be drained first it will take several months to refill.
