Julie Ann Kitching, who address as given as Derby Road in Douglas, was excused appearing before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
Her advocate told the court the 57 year old had moved to Brighton in the UK and had only recently found out she was due in court.
She hasn't yet entered a plea to a single count of damaging property on July 27 last year.
Mrs Braidwood adjourned the case and Miss Kitching is next due in court on February 20.
