Woman suffers puncture wounds after dog bite

Police are searching for a dog owner after a woman sustained puncture wounds and bruising after being bitten last Friday.

Two dogs which were being walked around the area of the Clypse Reservoir at around 12pm became involved in a fight.

During the incident one of the owners was bitten on the thigh by a Staffordshire-type dog which was grey and white.

The walker of the offending dog is described as a blonde woman who was wearing gym clothes including 3/4 length black lycra trousers and a vest top.

She has been asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
