A New Year reveller spat at police after she was arrested for being drunk and disorderly.
Kathleen Salkeld of Knock Froy Lane in Santon appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
The 30 year old admitted assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and being drunk and disorderly outside 1886 Bar & Grill in Douglas at 3.45am on New Year's morning.
When police spoke to her, she turned aggressive and lashed out - before spitting at an officer in the cells at police headquarters.
The case was adjourned until April 9 for a social enquiry report and Salkeld was bailed in the meantime.
