A Laxey woman has been fined £400 after a punch up in a pub.
37-year-old Fiona Elizabeth Scholes, of New Road, attacked her partner in The Bridge Inn on July 25th after he stood her up.
At Douglas Courthouse yesterday/on Thursday/last week she pleaded guilty to displaying disorderly behaviour on licensed premises.
The court heard Scholes had entered the venue at 9pm looking for her then partner who was playing pool.
She deliberately potted all the balls with her hands before pushing him against a wall and attempting to punch him.
Scholes was removed from the pub but continued to bang on the windows and was verbally abusive to other patrons and the landlady.
Scholes' advocate told the court she'd been suffering from "depression, stress and anxiety" at the time adding "She was not in great frame of mind that day".
Ordering her to pay costs of £125, and imposing a three-month licensing ban, Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes told Scholes "There was no reason at all for you to behave as you did."
