A court’s heard a woman from Douglas and one from Merseyside both had criminal cash on them when they were stopped by police.
Kelly Thompson of Demesne Road and Jade Neale of St Catherine’s Gardens in Birkenhead appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
40 year old Thompson admitted possessing heroin and cannabis, obstructing a drugs search and possessing criminal property but denies possessing heroin with intent to
supply it.
29 year old Neale admitted one count of possessing criminal property.
The court heard both women were arrested at a filling station on Victoria Road in Douglas on August 28 and Thompson was carrying 3.5 grammes of the class A drug.
Between them, the duo were also carrying more than £3,100 in cash.
Both were remanded in custody – Neale will appear again on August 30 while Thompson will next be in court on September 5.
