A Castletown woman who passed out in a bus stop after going drinking has been banned from buying alcohol.
27-year-old Catherine Amy Heidstrom of Close Malew appeared before Deputy High Bailiff James Brooks at Douglas Courthouse.
She pleaded guilty to being drunk in public on August 14 at the Lord Street Bus Station in Douglas.
The court heard concerned members of the public called police after spotting Heidstrom lying on the floor - but when officers arrived she became belligerent and was arrested for her own safety.
After hearing she had previous alcohol-related convictions, Mr Brooks fined her £125 and ordered her to pay costs of £50.
She was also banned from buying or being sold alcohol for three months.
