A court heard a woman from Douglas died following a fall in her shower.
An inquest into the death opened at Douglas Courthouse yesterday.
62 year old Wendy Dobson died on July 21 this year.
Consultant pathologist Dr Irvine Long said death was due to acute bleeding in her lungs and fractured ribs following the fall.
Coroner of Inquests John Needham adjourned the hearing to a date to be set.
