An Island taxi boss says going green is paying dividends as fuel prices rise on the Island.
Paul Heavey took to LinkedIn, saying his company Island Taxis Limited fully converted to electric vehicles some time ago.
And he says fitting solar panels to charge them means he's avoided the perfect storm of a bus strike and huge hikes ion the price of fuel on the Island.
In his post, he says the company based in Kirk Michael hasn't been driven by a green agenda but good business sense.
