An Anagh Coar mum who’s alleged to have falsely claimed almost £35,000 in benefits will stand trial at the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
Jessica Lynn Cracknell of Cushag Road appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
She denies eight counts of making false representations to obtain benefits between November 2017 and August 2019.
Prosecutor James Robinson told the hearing Miss Cracknell is alleged to have made the claim fraudulently from its outset by failing to declare her boyfriend was living with her.
Mrs Hughes said the case was too serious to be heard in a summary court, and Miss Cracknell would be committed to the higher court for trial.
She bailed the 30 year old to appear in court again on September 1.
