Natalie Dawn Winter of Johnny Watterson Lane in Douglas appeared before Deputy High Bailiff James Brooks at Douglas Courthouse.
The 52 year old admitted driving while over the drugs limit on Peel Road in Greeba at around 9.15am on March 18.
Prosecutor Roger Kane told the hearing police stopped her car after smelling cannabis, and Winter failed a roadside test before a blood sample showed she was three and a half times the limit.
She was fined £1,000 and ordered to pay £125 costs, and will have to pass an extended driving test to get her licence back after the ban.
